2022 Comprehensive Plan

The Hallsville Planning and Zoning Board of Commissioners and the Hallsville Board of Aldermen worked with Mid Missouri Regional Planning Commission on a comprehensive plan.  It was started with a survey that went out to the public.  The full result of the survey is Appendix A of the document.  A comprehensive plan is required to have three major items:  Information on the community, current land use vs. future land use, and a dedicated transportation section.

Comprehensive plans are beneficial to a community as they provide: a process for identifying community resources, long range community needs, and commonly held goals. a process for developing community consensus. a blueprint for future governmental actions.
