Hallsville Area Chamber of Commerce Announces New Leadership and Exciting Initiatives for 2025

Hallsville, MO – The Hallsville Area Chamber of Commerce met for their first meeting of 2025 on January 14th, where the Chamber Board appointed a new President, Treasurer, and Secretary. These leadership changes mark an exciting chapter for the Chamber and its commitment to promoting the growth of the Hallsville community.

Ryan Hoffman Appointed Chamber President

Ryan Hoffman, Financial Advisor at Edward Jones, has been appointed as the new President of the Hallsville Area Chamber of Commerce. In his statement, Hoffman expressed his dedication to both family and community: “Balancing roles as a father, husband, and pet parent, quality family moments are what truly matter. Whether biking, hiking, playing hockey, or enjoying family game nights, creating lasting memories is fundamental to who I am. The future is bright with the Hallsville Chamber and the community is growing, Hallsville community needs a strong Chamber of Commerce to promote and provide support.  As a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones I have the privilege to hear individuals unique stories and aspirations, understand what they are working toward and assist with reaching their goals.  My goal as Chamber president is to listen to the needs and concerns of the members and focus to create initiatives that address those challenges and capitalize on opportunites for growth.  I am inspired by the individuals I meet daily and excited to connect with you."

Cheri T. Reisch to Remain Vice President

Cheri T. Reisch, a longtime Chamber member and 7th generation Boone Countian, will remain the Vice President of the Chamber. Cheri’s extensive experience includes serving as City Clerk, Court Administrator, Mayor, and State Representative for Hallsville. She has also been a member of the Chamber since its founding in 1994 and is the owner of Cheri Reisch Property Management. “I am excited to continue serving Hallsville in this capacity and support the new leadership in fostering growth within the Chamber and the community,” said Reisch.

Taylor Love Appointed Chamber Treasurer

The Chamber has also appointed Taylor Love as Treasurer. Love attended school in Hallsville from k-12 grade.  She has worked in the mortgage industry since 2019 starting with VU and now with Central Bank as of May 2024.  Taylor has been actively involved in the Hallsville community since returning in 2018 with her family. “In my free time, I tend to my hobby farm that includes two miniature donkeys, three kunekune pigs, two dogs, and four cats.  My spouse, Dylan Smith, works for Hemme Construction as their remodel and construction consultant.  We love to work on our home and watch our son play football and soccer,” said Love. 

Kenyetta Ridgway-Sample Appointed Chamber Secretary

Kenyetta Ridgway-Sample, City Administrator/City Clerk for Hallsville, has been appointed Secretary of the Chamber. Ridgway-Sample has worked for the City of Hallsville for almost twelve years.  “My role as Secretary will allow me ensure that the Chamber communicates effectively with its members and the broader community.,” said Ridgway-Sample.

Kari Yeagy Chamber Board Member

Kari Yeagy has been appointed as a Chamber Board Member representing the Hallsville School District.  Kari has been with the Hallsville School District since 2012 and is currently the Director of Communications. As the largest employer within the City of Hallsville, the district plays a pivotal role in supporting not only students but also the broader community. "Our schools are the heart of the community, shaping future leaders while fostering a sense of pride and connection for families and residents alike," Kari shared.  Through her role, Kari works to strengthen communication and collaboration between the district and community members, ensuring transparency and engagement. As a Chamber Board Member, Kari is eager to help promote initiatives that drive growth and create meaningful connections between businesses, schools, and families within the Hallsville area.

Upcoming Events and Chamber Initiatives

As part of its new initiatives, the Hallsville Area Chamber of Commerce will host the first Chamber Coffee Chat on Wednesday, February 12th from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Hallsville City Hall. This will be a monthly event held on the second Wednesday morning of each month, providing a chance for businesses to connect. For more information, watch the Chamber’s Facebook page.

Chamber meetings will continue to be held bimonthly, with the next scheduled meeting on March 4th. The new leadership is eager to implement new ideas and invite more businesses to join the Chamber as the organization continues to evolve and support the growing community.

“We have a new Board with fresh ideas and a renewed focus on fostering collaboration and growth. We are excited to engage with new and existing members to help shape the future of Hallsville,” said Ridgway-Sample.
