City Administrator

The City of Hallsville is governed by a Mayor/Board/Administrator form of government.  The Administrator serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the City and is responsible for the administration and management of the business and employees of the City subject to the direction and supervision of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. 

Currently the City Administrator is also serving as the City Clerk.  

 

Kenyetta Ridgway-Sample has been Hallsville's City Administrator/City Clerk since November 9, 2015.  Before she was hired as City Administrator, Kenyetta served as Deputy Clerk when she started with the City in July, 2013 and was then promoted to City Clerk in April, 2015.  In February of 2020, Kenyetta was also appointed the new Building Commissioner.
