The City of Hallsville, Missouri (pop. 1600) is accepting applications for the position of School Resource Officer/Police Officer.  The Officer will be assigned to work full-time within the Hallsville Public Schools during the school year providing law enforcement services to the school with an emphasis in providing a safe environment for students, faculty, and the community.  The Officer will have regular patrol responsibilities when school is not in session.  The City is looking for an individual with a high level of professional ethics, integrity, and outstanding communication skills that works well with the public and children.  The Officer will be responsible for enforcement of all City ordinances and State laws.  Qualified applicants must possess a valid Missouri Driver License and be P.O.S.T.
